Experienced CDs will try to answer any reasonable question--given, however, that we are not trained psychologists
(or sex workers either!).
- Weekly Open House: We also meet once a month, either in the apartment or in an area restaurant. The apartment meetings feature knowledgeable speakers, such as: gender
psychologists; cosmetic, wig or clothing experts; or prominent members of the Transgender Community. The restaurant
meetings are just plain fun! We go to a variety of CD friendly and inexpensive Manhattan restaurants. It is a
wonderful way to show off that great dress that's been hiding in your closet. AND you can change clothes before
and afterward at the CDI apartment, free of charge.
You can also join CDI, receive a discount to our meetings and special events; and help our on-going effort
for just $50.00 per calendar year. (We won't mail anything, if you don't have a safe address and you only
have to tell your fictitious name on the application).
